Ron Vesely Photography

Established in 1985, my experience includes having covered 15 World Series, 11 Super Bowls, 2 NBA Finals ,The Indianapolis 500,The PGA U.S. Open and many other major sporting events. I have also photographed other "less famous" events such as the American Legion World Series, the Womens Softball World Series, even touch football and hang gliding.

I have won a few awards in my career, most recently the 2002 Baseball Hall of Fame Photo Contest. My image of the Angels World Series celebration placed 2nd in the Post Season Category. Besides photographing "game action", I am also an accomplished location portrait photographer, having photographed such sports celebrities as Deion Sanders, Frank Thomas, Cal Ripken Jr., Carlton Fisk, Bo Jackson, Peyton Manning, Rob Dibble and others. A few of these images can be viewed in my portrait portfolio. My many years of photographing sports has provided me an opportunity to create an extensive library of stock sports images.
Publication credits include Sports Illustrated, Sports Illustrated for Kids, ESPN Magazine, The Sporting News, Sport Magazine, Inside Sports, Time, Life Magazine, TV Guide and American Iron among many.
